NATIONAL VALIDATION WORKSHOP ON THE DRAFT HYDROLOGISTS RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Hydrologists Registration Board is a Regulatory State Corporation formed under the Hydrologists Act No. 19 of 2017, whose mandate is to regulate, coordinate and oversee the practice of Hydrology in Kenya. The Board has developed the Draft Hydrologists Rules and Regulations and has held several public participatory workshops to collect views from stakeholders with the aim of improving the draft Rules. The Board now intends to hold a National Validation Workshop on Tuesday 26th October, 2021. The workshop will be held online from 9.00am to 12.30pm.

The draft Hydrologists Rules and Regulations and the Hydrologists Act, 2017 are available on the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation website www.water.go.ke and the Board’s website www.hydrologistsboard.go.ke. Hard copies of the documents may be obtained free of charge from the address listed below. Written submissions may also be submitted to the address below on or before Thursday 28th October, 2021 at 4.00pm.
